Here's one, take the part of Beefy Botham and try to bat your way to a century whilst under the influence of various narcotic substances supplied by your team mates. Spike the opposing teams tea during the 4 o'clock sandwich break, and try to stop women joining the MCC as part of the management sim/strategy element.
As a bonus game you could play the 'How many England Cricketers does it take to trash a Boeing 747?' (arcade Tekken style) as you jet off to your next tournament. And as an RPG element you could have the Bribery sub-plot running throughout, placing your hard earned Judas money on the outcome of rigged games to build up a private stash.
The only thing it hasn't got is a driving element. Hmmmm.....
