Just purchased the above card from SR and its a beast, but since I put it in, I've had problems with IE crashing. I downloaded the newest update for IE and installed it, no joy, so I downloaded the newest drivers for the card, no joy there either. Are there any boffins on this forum that can think of anything else. this is a VERY annoying problem, especially when I type out a 3 page review and then have it all flushed down the toilet by the gremlins in my PC.

Cheers

Oh, yeah, type reviews in Word first and then you can save a lot.

I seriously doubt this graphics card is affecting IE in particular, or at all. Have you looked in other areas?

lord h : I've updated to mozilla and so far so good. I am always wary of new
shareware-esque software, as it usually ends up being incompatible with other
things.

turbonutter : all I know is my system was running absolutely sweet as a nut
before I put the card in, now it isn't. I can only assume that i.e. speaks
to the card to request things, and screws up somewhere along the way. anyway
I'll carry on with mozilla for now and see how it goes

Your drivers *for* the graphics card may have changed something, possibly, but I doubt this is a direct result of the graphics card.
