Judging by the general concessus of the Wavebird is that it's garnering quite a response from the gaming fraternity. I've been hearing stories of people being able to play at the bottom of the stairs to see if the RF connectivity is more efficient than the old method of cordless gaming.
Was initially a little disappointed to hear that there is no rumble feature with this new device, but you can't have everything I guess. Battery life was also a concern, which was soon dispelled when I'd heard that they can last as long as 100 hours.
So, I'd expect to see Sony's and Microsoft's equivalent before the end of the year then...

WHY AREN'T THEY RELEASED OVER HERE YET?
