is there really that much difference between GF3 Ti200 and GF4 MX460 cos you gotta remember mx 460 is 300MHz ad the RAM is 550MHz but Ti200 is only 175MHz and RAM 400MHz, I know it has the extra features that mean that the GPU and your CPU don't have to do as much but when the GPU is 300MHz and the pc it will be running on is an ATHLON 1700 will it really matter

Well he was just wondering why the specs look worse for the GE3Ti than on the GE2MX
You'd really have to set 2 identical PCs up to see the difference but the Ti card is much better. I havn't got one, i've got a GE2 but then I wasn't going to pay over £60 for a video card when I only play outdated games that work on a 4Mb card!

I don't have an AGP slot, so I don't have this problem when choosing a graphics card. I either have the GeForce 2 MX200 or I go without.

i have to say using research the mx400 is a very dumbed down version of the GTS 32 and 64 mb!
DeltaJava I am not stupid, I know RAM is memory, what I was referring to was that the GF4 MX460 has 64mb of DDR RAM which clocks at 550MHz with a bandwidth of 8.8gb/s and that the GF3 Ti200 has 64mb DDR clocking at 400MHz with a bandwidth of 6.4gb/s
The reason I am asking if GF4 MX460 would be enough is because I previously had a GF2 MX400 and it runs all my games fine in 1024 x 768 except for GTA3 so with the increased speed and memory speed/bandwidth in the MX460 should it not keep me going for another good while

I got my GeForce4 Ti 4600 installed today. All i have to say is. Sweet.
yea even if they're not up to Geforce ti standards as long as they play ur fave games okay!
I have an original GeForce 3. I'm not complaining at all - all the games run okay on my PC (as in smoothly, except for Morrowind)
