For "c**k" is the correct term for a male budgerigar! It's called Petey and can peck really hard. Apparently some types of budgie can speak, but after hours of muttering swear words into it's listen-holes, it just squawks and poops in it's cage. My girlfriend's "c**k" has feathers.
