Hes the man that Ronaldo what a striker ;0) Golden boot award, scoring both goals. I am glad Brazil won it cause they have been bye far the best team in the tornament and the best bit was when Ronaldo was in tears near the end.
What a great moment for kafu too last ever international match and getting to a final three times, first player ever to have done it.

Rivaldo didn't deserve to get anything after his blatant cheating in the tournament!

I never said he was retiring I just said that they will probably use Denilson and replace Rivaldo as he gets older.

It's a shame that Rivaldo couldn't quite make it one goal scored by himself for every game Brazil played in the Tournament.
If Ronaldo was gunna steel the Golden Boot with his grubby hands, Rivaldo deserved to get something other than JUST the World Cup - and he came SO close!!

It'll be a very empty World Cup without him next time round - if, of course, he does retire from the International Stage...

I still find it amusing that the World Cup final was played between two sides that struggled to qualify for the finals in the first place.

He should be in the next World Cup at 34, providing he doesn't get no injuries.

Rivaldo will be 34 the next time the world cup comes around wont he?

I doubt he'll retire from the international scene just yet but his best days are behind him now...

Denilson was more of a gimmick in this world cup. Just brang him on to dazzle the crowd with his silky skills. One of my fave moments was in the semi-final against Turkey when he had 4 turks after him and the ball :)
Quality.
