The guitarist, called Shaun has his new band and they are called 'The Revolution Smile'. Sadly, they have just signed to Fred Dursts label but they are giving away 1000 free albums to the first people to sign up to their mailing list.
Hopefully they send to the U.K.
I think the album is from the old record label which was never released as they re-done it for the new.
The music is ok, you can here it on the site but all in all it's a free CD which is cool.
Here's the statement from another site:
The Revolution Smile have now launched their new official website at www.revolutionsmile.com complete with 3 new mp3's from their ill-fated album "We Are In This Alone". Three songs from the release will be posted bi-monthly up until all 11 tracks from the album have been made available. For those not interested in downloading however, the group are offering 1 free copy of the pressed version of the aforementioned album, complete with artwork, to the first 1000 people who sign-up for their mailing list on their site. In the meantime, the group have 20-25 new songs they are working on and are slated to enter the studio in mid-July to begin recording their upcoming Flawless debut, which will be produced by Dave Sardy (System Of A Down, Marilyn Manson) and band frontman/guitarist Shaun Lopez, while Andy Wallace (Faith No More, System Of A Down) is expected to handle the mixing duties. An early 2003 release is in the works.
So if you go there and sign up a Free CD is your hopefully and it's limited edition stuff. Only about 100 people have signed up so far so you're all safe.
The site is www.therevolutionsmile.com
Still very good though.
Still, I downloaded the bonus track (called

I love 'Grunge Model'.
It's one of the first Rival School songs I heard a few months ago. It's beautiful in my opinion and I started to wonder why they never put it on the album, I wanted it on there. Now I know why...
I've heard one track on the Rival Schools United by Onelinedrawing CD. It's called 'Always'. Only one I've found for download.
I may get it when I go to the HMV next anyhoo, I'll tell you how much it cost if I buy it or see it there.
Oh, and anyone else buy the Rival Schools album and then find the limited edition UK version came out about a week later with a bonus track...? Annoying... Still, I downloaded the bonus track (called 'grunge model') and it wasn't too good. Just an instrumental track, alright, but not as good as the rest of the album.

Ya I think I need to go and TELL me HMV to get it in. tey may get it in more that Rival Schools are getting bigger. They are releasing 'Good Things' as their next single. Bad choice I think...
Mr.Happy said it was real cheap, something like 5 - 7 quid.
I'll go order my music stores around when I'm there next, thanks for the kindness though Sibs.
You'll probably be able to find it cheaper somewhere on the 'net mind :-)
