I got back from work, and had to rub my eyes when with 20 minutes gone it was 2-1 to Turkey. I then went to the toilet, came back and it was 3-1. I've missed all the goals so far, but I saw the highlights. First goal from Sukur - good for him! And fantastically quick as well.
I'm going to make sure I don't miss much of that 2nd half!

He didn't score twice did he? I thought it was the other one who scored twice. Anyways, It was a brilliant match and the two matches this weekend have been the best of the tournament. It was basically an exibition match like the commentators said and it was nice to see the players joining together at the end to thank the supporters.

That was a brilliant match - from what I saw in the highlights anyway.

Great goals and lots of them - especially that free kick!

And apparently, Hakan Sukur's made the record books for going so-long in the tournament without actually scoring!
I was surprised to see him actually score though - and twice too!!

Rustu was amazing in goal again even though he was injured. He has certainly improved since France 98.

True, Korea played brillianly and put on a great match with Turkey today. Unfortunately, we do have Turkey in the qualifying groups for the European championships.

I watched the match and thought it was great 3-2 but Turkey where very lucky the second goal was a foul and also thinks they should take action against the player who elbowed the korean player in the throat (very dangerous). I was wondering too if Turkey had payed the ref the way he was playing.

I knew it was going to be a good match when Turkey scored after 7 seconds.

Korea played well (again) and were a little unliucky not to get anything from the game (again).

Havn't we got Turkey in the Euro qualifying?

Korea played well after the 3-1 down, especially as soon as the 2nd half began. But 4th place is a massive achievement for them. Just think where they are in the Fifa World rankings now...

Sukur's goal was just ridiculous! Scoring in a record time after a Korea kick off. It has been one of the best games that I haved watched so far and hopefully the second half will be better.
