I have two PC's at home - one in the bedroom, the other downstairs in the living room.
I basically want to connect them via a wireless network, with a wireless router connected to my cable modem and a wireless network card in each PC.
Buying the components seperately can be quite expensive, so can anyone recommend a suitable 'budget' package containing everything I need?
I'm going to PC World tomorrow to have a look, but any pointers would be appreciated.

Do you need a hardware router for a cable modem? I only ask because my ADSL setup uses software to share the connection. It's simple at the mo, just two desktop boxes, but I plan on adding a laptop to the setup soon. The hardware I used is at http://www.dabs.com/products /prod-info.asp?quicklinx=178H (spaces!).
I wouldn't bother, a setup like that is going to cost you about £400 if you get half decent kit, £100 for each box, then anything around the £200 mark for a wireless router.
Make a bit more effort and wire it, much faster, more secure, more reliable, and you could set something like that up for £90ish if you look around.
