bah? Having only had my Gamecube for less than 2 months it has developed a fault!!! the fault being that the controller port is dodgy in that the controller is stuck fast inside it and just wont come out, worst still it's an official controller! I have no idea why this has happened as I have allways taken the upmost of care with my GC (like i do with all consoles) and I have never forced the controller in or out ever, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so do you have a solution? cos the only solution I can come up with right now is to return my cube to Game tommorow and get a replacement, *sigh* my bday tommorow as well, sods law is'nt it?

if you get washing up liquid in the port then you neutralise it with water. the water should evapourate leaving it as good as new.

cheers for that big slow, but the fact is that I have replaced it now and I would of thought washing up liquid would do more harm than good lol, unless it's just me but i'm sure washing up liquid would screw it up real good if you got it in the controller port, neway does'nt matter as I have a new GC now :D

Got a replacement GC now and everythings fine :) methinks now i'm not going to even bother taking the controllers out of it unless i really need to, even so I was pretty astonished and puzzeled as to why it did it in the 1st place cos i definately never forced the controller in or out, neway doesnt matter now as I have a brand spanking new one, hmm now all I need is a new memory card as my current one is filling up quite rapidly, hmm is'nt there a release date for the Ofiicial Nintendo 251 memory card yet? if you know could you please tell me as i'm going to get one of those as oppossed to wasting between £10-£15 on a memory card which'll be filled up in about 2 months.

My Cube has been perfectly fine without any problems so far (touchwood) you sure it wasnt superglued in ;0)

nope definately not, ive never forced the controller in or out since i had it and NO i have not put it in upside down before you ask :D neway going to exchange it tommorow so there should be no problems after that *touches wood*
