I can understand the developer's wanting more people to get to the end of it, or at least not give up in frustration after five minutes, but surely that's why difficulty settings exist? I seem to be flying through levels, submarine base took about an hour last night. Maybe it's because I know what to expect, I dunno, but I just remember the enemies being a lot smarter and more dangerous. I hardly ever get ambushed. Hell, even saved Paul, he's tucked away in Hong Kong. Wouldn't have had a prayer of doing that on PC from what I remember. What I found funny is that I'm building up totally different skills this time. I did the first level in half an hour without killing anyone. But by the time I reached the sewer, I started using my pistol to speed things up a bit...weird. Wonder what that says about me?
I started out being all stealthy trying not to kill people. I have since learned that I like the use of excessive force as a bargaining tool. I am now able to walk out in the open as bullets bounce off me, and I'm pretty handy with a sawn-off. I had a bit of run in the chinese police, I was busy minding my own business robbing a shop when one of them spotted me. He called two others over and they made a right fuss! I asked them to calm down but they just wouldn't listen...
Deus Ex PS2 is probably too easy, but it's still absolutely brilliant (aside from minor niggles).

It still makes me take regular trips to the bog!
:)
Even on the 'easy' difficulty setting I'm struggling a bit... I guess it takes a while to work out what strategy works best.

I could get through it, but it took time. Some parts took ages, especially when you hardly had any health.
