I acquired 3D Max Studio a while ago and now that I've finally left school, I have the time to get into it and experiment with different things. Thing is, I thought the program would be a lot easier than it is, so I'm just wondering how you learnt how to use this program? Any good books or tutorials you can recommend?

I've only done basic stuff so far, this is my proudest achievement:-

I'm not too bothered on spending money on some books, if that's the best way to go about it. Thanks.

OK, cheers. I won't do it for a few days because I had work today, have it tomorrow and sure enough, have it on Monday as well. At least I'll have lots of money to blow on CDs by the end of it :).

Search KaZaA (if you have it, if not - http://www.kazaa.com) for eBooks on 3D Studio Max. I'm sure they have quite a few.

Ahh, yes. I've done a few of these already. Made a palm tree earlier which I'm proud of :).

Are there any books you can recommend, or did you learn from these tutorials?
