The first time I played through and won the world cup with England, everything was fine, I then started a game with Spain, got half way through and saved.
Now, a few days later I went back to it and if you've played the game you'll know about the loading screen with the spinning ball you get in the corner. Well I got to the final with Spain and when I went to enter it, the loading screen came up and the ball started spinning. Halfway through loading, the ball stopped spinning and of course I though "oh crap". Just to make sure it wasn't perfectly normal for the ball to stop, I went and got a drink and stuff, but when I came back, there was no change - the game had crashed on me.
To make sure if it was the game or my X-Box, I took it to my mates house and it did exactly the same thing in a group stage match. I was England that time. I looked at the disk and there wasn't a scratch on it. After this happening a few times I'd had enough and took it back to the shop and there were no problems in me changing it. I played as Brazil and got to the quarter finals where I ended up getting eliminated, but I took it that it worked. Unfortunatly last night I play again as Brazil, got to the quarter finals and it bloody crashed during loading again !
Has anyone else had this trouble ?? I mean I really don't think its the X-Box because I play all my other games and I've never had any trouble with them. I even played Legends of Wrestling for a few hours straight after last night and there wasn't a hint of trouble. But at the same time, there isn't a mark on the disk to give it reason to do it either. Could it be shoddy programming from EA ?
I'll probably call the shop about it again today and see what they say. I want a football game and I like this Fifa game, but I can't keep this game when its just gonna do this all the time. An obvious thing to do is save after every match I play - but Fifa isn't shy when it comes to taking up blocks on the hard drive and even though theres tons of space, I don't want to use hundreds of blocks to save a game like Fifa if you know what I mean. I just want to save what I have to cause its comes up as one save on the X-Box hard drive so I can't seem to delete individual saves as far as the different games go.
So anyway, if anyone else has Fifa on the X-Box, please tell me if you've encountered any problems cause this is doing my head in.
