Ohh, get this, some Microsoft bloke said Xbox2 will be available around the time of the next world cup in 2006!
With PS3 rumoured to be made available around 2005 it seam MS are planing ahead.
With XboxLive said to be backwards compatable with Xbox and its sequal hopefully Xbox2 will allow its games to be backwards compatable with the original aswell.
Even if this is all a buch of crap at least we know there's a good 4 years left in Xbox yet. It's probably pointless looking into this too much, as common 2006 is ages away but it seams in the next "console war" MS are not letting sony get a head start.

Alot of things can happen within four years - I mean, a comet could hit Earth and wipe out every life-form.... but still it's good to see MS are committed to the console market - or so it seems....?
Settle with the consoles weve got first. we're still in our honeymoon, we need to find a home, make babies, moan about morgage repayments and visit the guidance councillor before we even consider these new consoles.
