"Dance Music"

I thought that this may freak you all out, but is anyone in to dance music? Whatever you think give me your thoughts!!!!!

I don't listen to dance music, it doesn't really appeal to me... I mean yeah, maybe the variety is in the way it's mixed, but then if you listen to it on a CD are you saying it does sound all the same...?

The thing I really hate is when you hear these songs that just have a constant beat all the way through... and it's not that it never really changes that annoys me, it's that the constant, unchanging beat is made the main feature of the song, by being made the loudest thing on the song... All you can hear is a constant DUM, DUM, DUM, DUM... and it's more than a little annoying... (especially when you have to put up with it on the coach to school and you're trying to revise!!!)

Anyway... It's not to my tastes, but a lot of people do enjoy it so I'm not bothered...

The thing is that dance music is really varied, but people seem to have tunnel vision when it comes to dance music.

It's the way it's mixed that makes it good to listen to.
People also seem to put chart music in the same catagory, and chat music is wel................ we know what it is.

I don't listen to it but I don't think it's all that bad.

When I was younger, like about 11/12 I think I actually preffered it to all the other stuff that was on the radio.

Thing is, from what I've heard, it's pretty much all the same. It's always got a build in it somewhere, or in certain places. Must get the clubbers going, but I'm not a clubber.

Much rather listen to it then Garage though...maybe.
