can anybody tell me if the original ps controllers will work on a ps2 and vice-versa? Thanks
PS controllers work on the PS2, but some PS2 games have functions that use the analogue buttons that only appear on the PS2 controller. (For example, in some racing games on the PS2 the harder you press the button the faster you go- this does not happen with old PS controllers)

PS2 controllers DO work with the PS. I don't have a PSone controller as I sold it with another PS. So I use my PS2 controller for my PSone, and it works perfectly. It's very good of Sony to make it all compatible like this :)

Aye! It be true! PS controllers do work on PS2's, but as for PS2 controllers working on PsX's, i wouldn't like to say, but I would take Tom's word for it.
