Rar, went to Luke's on Friday. Funning ruled.

-={Friday}=-={7-ish}=-

Arrived at Luke's gaff, attempted to boot Euripides's drive which I had brought with me. Succeeded, second thing I did was delete half of Rar's Linux install. Cleverrob. Had lots of fun when we realised Linux can handle 2 keyboards and 3 mice...

-={Friday}=-={9-ish}=-

Went out to meet Phil with Katie and Chris. We sat in the sauna and talked about various things, some stuff was completely made and some stuff made me wish I was 300 miles away again. We then walked back lukewards, taking photos of Katie and various things with Luke's dying camera.

A bit later on, Chris and Katie came round to watch a film. Had much, much fun with the remote keyboard, now running at near enough full range. The film was OK I guess.

Later we had much fun with the remote keyboard. Watched The Fifth Element, didn't watch most of Antitrust, annoyingly. We hit each other with pillows quite a lot. Finally got to sleep at about 5:15 after a very cool conversation.

-={Saturday}=-={Far too early. About 11.}=-

Woke up and talked, tried to mount Erupides on Deepblue, failed miserably. Just sat and talked, did some cool stuff. Luke's dad made us the best geek breakfast - fish and chip butties. Katie came round again which was really nice and we talked, then went off to play football with everyone else (and luke).

-={Saturday}=-={3-ish}=-

We played "football" for... oooh... at least 4 nanoseconds, and generally mooched around. Me and Luke played geek football, which was amazingly cool - kicking the ball to each other with our hands in out pockets while looking cold and pathetic. Oh, we were about a foot away from each other. Then we ealked back Philwards via Chris's house to retrieve stolen camera.

-={Saturday}=-={5-ish}=-

We sat around Phil's house while fighting over which moronic pop music the girls would listen to. Be'd amazed at Otherluke's guitar playing, and demanded Afraid to Shoot Strangers from Phil.

-={Saturday}=-={7-ish}=-

The girls get out of th house and the rj45 gets out of the box. *grin*. Everyone started CS0ring and ftp0ring while I played about with Rar's XP, sorting it out, installing my software and generally getting annoyed at the UI for falling apart totally within 20 minutes. Still, now I remember why I hate Windows. I would have used Linux, if I hadn't deleted most of /bin and init. When I got CS working, I genrally be'd Rob - got better at CS quite rapidly and teammates started dropping like flies. It's fun I tell you! I killed Otherluke several times with a glock, and kill Phil once with that too, which was a very satisfying experience. I think I'm better than Luke as well, which is pretty OK. Spent most of the night CSing and generally enjoying 1mbit net connections and 10mbit file transfer.

-={Sunday}=-={2-ish}=-

Walked around Saffron Walden. Nearly killed Luke and Ruari. Funfunfun. Not much to say about this bit :)

-={Sunday}=-={4-ish}=-

Wide awake and watching Crocodile Dundee in LA. At this point I noticed everyone was asleep (except Luke, who claimed not to be) and debated throwing a pillow at him. Decided against it and went to sleep myself.

-={Sunday}=-={11-ish}=-

We woke up and generally acted like we'd just had a LAN and not got much sleep. Did a bit of computering, but stopped when I realised my brain wasn't up to co-ordinating pressing two keys at once, or in fact, pressing any keys in any particular order. I surveyed the damage - severely drained remote mouse batteries (stupid, stupid rob) and lots of sunk coke. We made the tradition Coke Can Mountain which was quite large. Mooched, ate "breakfast" (Mars bar), played with Phil's hardware.

-={Sunday}=-={2-ish}=-

Katie came round for some reason and got immensely annoyed at Gaz, so we comforted her and listened to REM. Had more fun with multi-keyboards, and sent mugs to each other via Phil's ethernet cable express. Don't ask.

-={Sunday}=-={3-ish}=-

Grudgingly went home, really really tired and spent the following 4 hours journey cataloging the things I've left behind and reminiscing over a really cool weekend.

"Rar went to luke's on friday"

Immediate reaction to first sentence:

"No it didn't, it was already here."

And yes, heh, it was fun. Rob, you're welcome here any time.
