This has been confirmed for release on Xbox.

Unfortunately it won't be out until the end of next year. Details are a little sketchy as the game is still in its earliest days of development.

PErsonally, I'd like to see a GTA3/Morrowind style approach. A huge city, or maybe a number of slightly smaller ones, with various people you can do jobs for.

Or, if you wanted to, you could just do what you like. For example:

You start of picking peoples pockets, and fencing what you steal, to get money. And then when you've got enough money, yuo can buy the plans to a Mansion or something, then using these plans you can break in and steal something more expensive, to get more money, and it carries on like that.

What would you like to see in the game?

I dunno... I understand Eidos recruited a lot of the old Looking GLass guys to make the game, and that Warren Spectre was overseeing the project (I seem to remember from an article I read a year or two back? ...anyone know for sure?)

Given their approach in the past... from Ultima Underwurld, System Shock (esp System Shock 2) and previous Thief! titles, I'm expecting more of a refined Deus Ex style approach???

Maybe they'll surprise us though??? ...

I seem to remember reading an interview a while back in which Warren Spectre stated his interested in making a Thief! game in a 'modern' setting... I suspect he ment less GTA, more Sky Scrapers/Cat Burgulry shinanigans?

Thief3 is a game I am definitly looking forward to. I have pre-ordered the game for the PC and one time, I phoned SR and they didn't know when it's coming out. Isn't that pointless? The game is still in the making.

I've always wanted to play Thief 1 & 2 but I've never had the opportunity [PC limitations], so I'll definately be buying Thief 3.
I presume it will still be set in a medieval/middle ages time period.

I don't really know what I'd like to see in the game.... I suppose just as long as you can skulk in the shadows unseen and pinch precious trinkets and rare fancies from toffy-nosed aristocrats then I'll be happy.

I would like to see enemy's such as other thieves while you are robbing a house and the chance to talk to people you meet in towns and get them to join into a gang with you. Then you could raid more important buildings with a team and steal even bigger things such as ancient artefacts from museums.

Yeah I'll be buying this one when its released. ;-) As for what i want in the game, I'm not sure really. Haven't really had a chance to enjoy the other games before cause my PC is crap. ;-)) Most PC games I've played I've done so on my cousins comp.
