That is a shame, but I understand your reasoning. Only problem is the more advanced scripts out there that you pay for require this to protect their work...

Sorry we don't support Ioncube. Other users have asked for it but on investigating the best way to install it we decided it was not a good idea as the security of the installation was questionable.

Searching on Google for ionCube and Freeola shows some results where it looks like others have tried to use it.
