We all know now that GTA3 Miami is going to be coming out. Well, we also know about the supposed 'last mission' which was cut from the first game, and about the mysterious blocked off tunnels in Shoreside Vale.
Well, I knew that there was a 'hidden city' for a long time. My mate said he found it, and I kind of believed him. It was only by fluke that I stumbled upon this hidden city. Its not actually a hidden city, it is completely devoid of clipping, and its in exactly the place which would have made complete sense to link to via the tunnels.
I started by grabbing the Dodo, and flying all the way around Liberty City, then back up and over the dam. Right round to the end of the dam and through the hill at the end. There, I saw some buildings and road which looked as though it was a small extra part of GTA3, linked via those tunnels. Worked perfectly, and they are there.
I'm only slightly annoyed that it was taken out of the main game. Rumours abound, my best guess is the lack of time, although scrapping the 'last mission' is fine by me as long as we could have still gone through the tunnel. Oh well.
So that is my very short story of how I found a 'hidden city'. Oh, and then I kind of got stuck in a blur of colours then ended up in one of the tunnels beneath Liberty City. In a plane.
