Whenever I attept to Open Outlook Express when I'm fully offline or fully online, it won't open correctly and crashes, as MSN Messanger comes up with an error which appears to affect Outlook. Is there any way to stop outlook refering to MSN when I open it.

MSN always pops up in the corner when I open Outlook Express, and it will only open correctly if I first open IE, click conect and while its connecting, click Outlook Express, which opens just after the connection is made, which MSN and Oulook opening fine.

Wired huh, so anyone else have this happening and know the reasons/answers?

Cheers

I dont know how to stop the problem but i do know how to avoid the problem.

When you are not online open Outlook express and the connection thing should come up. Connect to the interent then and as long as you dont have MSN connecting automatically when you connect then you should be able to get yopur emails. Then if you want to use MSN close outlook express and open it.

If you dont understand a word i have just said write back and say

This sounds like one of those bizaare Microsoft bugs that MIGHT be fixed by reinstalling one or both the programs. Or it might not. I'd try reinstallation though: some file may have got corrupted along the line.

After that I'd uninstall Outlook altogether and put in a non-MS email program, since that's the single best way to protect yourself against viruses ;~)
