The USA team. Absolutely fantastic, and if it wasn't for the goalkeeping of Oliver Kahn, they'd be readying themselves for a World Cup semi-final. As no one in their own country will much care, I'm dedicating this thread in this forum to them.

Yea, my mate is from Texas and he didnt even know the USA were in the world cup until I told him last night!

We were watching the USA game in my English class. The only reason we were doing so is because my English teacher is American.

When they hit the side netting with 5 minutes to go everyone was ready to jump up on their feet and celebrate but when we saw it hit the side that was disappointing.
USA have played very well throughout the World Cup and I think they deserved to go on to greater things.
The folk in the USA won't care as usual now that USA are out. Some survey showed that more and more people in the USA were starting to tune in to the World Cup as their team progressed, but still at least half of the people in the country didn't know the World Cup was on.

Brad Friedel seemed to have forgot all about when he said somthin along the lines of "nobody really done us over" after the game today...

The usa did really desrve to win, but Kanh was on top form.
Yeah I would of like them to beat the Germans.
It is a shame the Americans dont really care about football cos then it might be more fans behind them.
