Right, i've finally got the courage to try some 3D modelling, i've tried some tutorials out but they all seem to loose me :) i'm new to the layout and to be honest, i've got absolutly no idea what anything does.

Can someone suggest a few tutorial sites please :)
i've tried www.3dcafe.com but I wasn't very successful with it.
thanks.

Oh, you learn something new everyday. I still can't believe you called him "Uncle Albert", maybe he wants you to sit on his knee. No offence Alb :D.

I don't mind paying for it, tutorial books are very handy to have.
What book did you get Uncle Albert? got any reccomendations on what I should look for?

Gabbo, 3D images are cool, it's a good program for drawing 2d too.

Got any examples of your work Alb? I'm facinated by 3D images, might even get round to giving it a go one day.

I hate to say it, but if you want the best guidance in this sort of thing, you've got to pay for it! Head down to your local Waterstones and check out the massive range of books dedicated to the art of 3d modelling and animating.

I developed an interest in this area of computing around Christmas time and now like to think I've pretty much mastered 3d Studio Max 3, thanks, mainly, to the book I back in December!

I'm pretty sure their are a few eBook's and tutorials on KaZzA. If not the web, try a few search engines and whatnot.
