The benjamin virus is a worm that replicates itself and also creates another directory with itself disguised as music and video files (usually in windows/temp/sys32) or something similar. It also adds this to your Kazaa list of shared folders so others can download a file they believe to be real which is actually the benjamin virus. The virus wont cause much damage to your PC at the moment but if others get ti from you they may send you something worse so it could be better to get rid of it.

With ad-aware you select all the components that you wish to search for spy-ware from the list on the left then click scan now (I would select them all apart from your floppy drive). It will then return a list of components which is sees as being spy-ware. Check nothin important is there and then click the box at the side of each one and then delete to remove them.

I dont think the Bejamin bug/virus is doing me any harm because my Virus check isnt picking it up which means it surely cannot pose a threat to my pc. I have Ad-Aware, but it doesnt seem to do me a lot of good! I dont get how to use it. Help?

My advice would be to use a normal virus checker such as Norton anti-virus to check to see if your computer is infected or if the software you downloaded (benjamin anti virus) is infact a virus itself. (It could be)

The benjamin worm also creates itself and disguises itself as files shared to other Kazaa users so check to make sure you get rid of the files in your shared folder that you didn't download to it.

I would suggest getting rid of Kazaa then re-installing it after you have run a virus checker and removed the worm from the system.

Also if you use Kazaa I advice you to get some anti-spyware software. A good one can be found at www.lavasoft.de

Can you still run the infected files? I doubt it's actually a virus.
Try to find the newest version of the anti-virus and see if that works, if your already using the latest version, I don't know what you could do (if it is a real virus)
