I am looking to buy another game for my Gamecube and ISS2 caught my eye. I don't really know much about it and what the pro's and cons are becuase I've always played FIFA game and I haven't played the first ISS. What are the graphics like? Does it play well? Is it easy to get to grips with?
Opinons much appreciated :)
Thanks.

It isn't a power bar! It is a height bar!

Just tap it to fire a powerful shot along the floor!

I miss quite a few shots too, but that's usually because I power them too much and they smack off against the frame of the goal!

I like the Power Meter though, and at least you can't sky the ball as easily as in ISS 2000!

The only thing I don't like is curling the ball, as I can never really seem to do it. I try, try and try to do like it says in the manual, but i've only ever scored one curling free kick, and that was with Zidane.

Onw thing I hate is the other teams defence.
It seems that as soon as you get the ball and move anywhere you get tackled. And it takes to long for players to twist ot turn with the ball too. And the defence is too slow at getting back.

I know you can call your keeper out, but Nigel Martyn is pants!!
And why do Japan wear red!????

I admit it's not the best football game ever, and it never will be. But it is currently the best footy game on the GameCube, but it is still quite a different experience to that of the N64 games.

I found the control systam quite hard to get used to after ISS 2000, but that may have been because it was the first GameCube game I played. But once you get used to it all, the game runs quite well.
And not only are the graphics a lot better, but the player movements and attacks you can make are a lot better.

But prepare to concede goals on a regular basis! You'll very rarely find that your defence stays back to do the job!

Good game.

Worst football game I have played in years...Although you must take into account that Pro Evo is the only football game I have played over the past few years...ISS2 might actually be a good game if you havnt experienced Pro evo.

Shudder to think how bad Fifa and Virtual stiker must be...

Pro Evo and even TIF 2002 on the PS2 are miles better.

My advice would be to try before you buy.

Good game, bit boring in single player. The controls are easy to get to grips with, the graphics are nice but nothing to wet your pants over and it's a hell of a lot better than the catastrophe that is Fifa.

Best football game on the GC worth getting but Pro Evo will be a hell of a lot better.
