Have you seen that advert on TV?

"Can you find a way in?"

"Can you explain how its eye works?"

And so on - all about recruiting new teachers.

Have you seen the PlayStation symbol buttonss flash up when they mention languages?

I wonder if they paid Sony to use that...

Also, shapes are universal... A triagnle is a triangle is a Triangle...

Whereas the Japanese alphabet is different to the British which is different to Dutch, etc.. (now if only I can learn how to use it!)

I think the the PS controller actually confuses me more than one with letters. Having said that they are very good for rhythm games

Rubbish. It's plain good ergonmic design. Previous consoles had buttons distinguished by colour and a letter. It's makes better sense from a man-machine interface standpoint to use geometric shapes instead of letters, which the brain can differentiate more quickly and with less effort.

the only reason they choose simple shapes to represent buttons on their controller is to appeal to the simple casual mass that are most likely to buy their console, neway... :)

I know Sony are a bunch of corporate sl*gs and all that, but surely they can't have trademarked a triangle, a square, a cross and a cirle. That'll screw up every goemetry teacher in the country.
