Delving back into the mists of time, yesterday afternoon i decided to play on some of my real classic games that i had not been on for a while. These were the games that i use to love, but as things have gone on i no longer played. These games were once the cream of the crop - the best you could get. These were the games i use to play on my PS1, and after playing them, they literally made me sick!

In a moment on boredom i decided to play on the likes of ISS Evo 2, GT 2 and many more of my older games, the thing is, they actually made me feel ill while playing them. The slow frame rate made everything move awkwardly on the screen, my eyes couldn’t focus on them, they strained on ISS Evo just to follow the ball and the players, and controlling the cars on GT2 was near impossible.

It seems after getting the PS2 complete with its hi-tech stuff that my eyes have adjusted to the new, improved technology and i really cant see myself ever being able to go back anymore and play on these older games.

I know that graphics are not everything, game play is massive in this, but these games look awful! Not only that, they actually made me feel ill trying to play them. I dont think i can ever go back to play these again.

In conclusion: My PS1 games have become a health hazard.

...and health hazard? nah you just gettin old mate...

Heh

Nah for real, I know what you mean, I went down my mates how the other day and he has a PSX so we were playing the old ISS Pro 2 Game and the Frame rates & rails which the game runs on were awful compared to the PS 2 version and it did give the eye a strain and also gets you frustrated because the game is different, but this could also be beacuse of the unbelievable amount of High colour the guy watches TV in.

Heh, I find myself doing the same thing sometimes. Wanting to get out my old PSX and play some of my old games just to see what it was like back then and to see what things I was hyped up about and everything like that.

I do also feel sick when I see some games. I get migranes (like you know) quite often because of focusing on the screens and stuff which really annoys me.

The games were actually quite boring after a very short time and it made me even more bored than before. Some games gave me a tickle though when I saw something happen which made me burst into laughter or tears year before.

Its very interessting when you take a look back into *your* history at the things that you liked then and the things that you like now and how the technology actually has improved ever so much.

You've got to laugh really havent you.

:D

Plus, I actually found this post better than some of the stuff on here today.

hmmm

Ah well.
