Just want your opinion on the game everyone thinks is so amazing. I think it's OK but it's kind of annoying that you have to play as that stupid gimp Raiden! All the moves are so good though, so i'm kindda torn!
No need to be torn about it. Raiden IS a gimp. Snake still rules. Hideo said that the reason he put Raiden in the game and forced us to play as him through the second level was so that we could gain an outside perspective of Solid Snake from another person's point of view, and hence learn more about him.
Raiden had so little character to him that we might as well have been Snake's bootlaces and got the same perspective that way.
Being able to shoot a guard in the kneecaps made up for it though.
