I've been 'properly' into the stuff for about a year now, and there never seems to be an end to the albums considered 'essential listening'.
I've searched out Nevermind, OK Computer, Black Album, Dark Side Of The Moon, The Doors...and still, every time I go on any website I get yet more recomendations.
Jezus, I've only ever heard one song by Jimmy Hendrix for funs sake. And he's supposedly the best guitarist ever.
It makes my head spin. All this quality stuff, famous or not, and chances are I'm going to completely miss most of it. Or I already have, in the case of a lot of bands.
There really isn't enough time to listen to it all, not properly anyway.
I suppose this is a good thing, really. We're never going to run out of music.
Hum de dum. Why does every topic I start never actually make any sense?
And I'm no Lazy Diaaaammmonnd.
