It's the Deus Ex SDK, and you can download it from the eidos website. Also PCgamer promised to put it on next months cover discs as well.
Where'd you get that then?
Ah I used to make levels for Half-Life... Never completed one... Still, now I make levels for Freespace2, I would do some blatant advertising for my site where they can be downloaded but I haven't put any on yet... Plus i would be shot, or my brain would start talking to me... or some other unpleasant punishment.
So anyway, is it good? And more to the point is it easy?
If you just want to move the RED cube, make sure the eye is selected, and move the cube in the top right screen.
Use control and left click for this.
To move it in the 3d view, select it, and move it by holding both buttons down. Perhaps if you have a middle button, try using that as well.
If you mean just move the red cube up, hold both mouse buttons down.
To move a solid block though, I don't think you can.
Hurrah!
I can also make it spin round in circles!
Use multiple keyframes...
But I can't texture it.
I'm stuck with a concrete bubbly door.
Damn.
Quite easy, make a small brush that can fit in between another bigger one.
Move it so it's in mid air than, make a brush that surrounds the door without overlapping. Intersect the brush. Move into doorway.
Door you click: at this time on the browse bar on the right where u got the texture go to classes, go to brushes, go to movables, go to deus ex movables and go to movable. I'm guessing on the exact directory but its really not hidden in there you'll find it and it is title mover. you want the simple mover not the elevator or multimover. now click it then click the addmover button(cube being attacked by squiggles). drag the brush u used before u added the mover, the red one, out of there, it just gets in the way. now click then right click the purple mover frame, go to keyframes->keyframe1. Rotate the door and move it so it is in the position you want it to be when the door is open, go to keyframe0 it should snap back to the closed position. check this out make sure it works. Add you player start and some lights then right clicking should open it.
That's it, but how do you move those brushes across and up properly!
