The Waller version will be called "Gingsters Paradise" and opens to the following lyrics
"As I walk through the kitchen with a hunger like death
I take a look in my fridge and realise there's nothing left
Cause I've been eatin' and drinkin' so long
That I never knew that ma pies were gone"
The video takes us through Rick's walk to the kitchen, with the camera panning over his shoulder to reveal the empty fridge. A flash of light from the fridge takes us into the next scene, Rick leaving his car and heading across a garage forecourt, heading in as the chorus goes as follows:
"Been spending most ma life
Livin' in a Gingsters Paradise
Sausage rolls are so nice
When I'm in ma Gingsters Paradise
Buying up all the pork pies
Puts me in a Gingsters Paradise
Pasties are ma source of life
When I'm in ma Gingsters Paradise"
Unfortunately this was all of the song and video that we got to see, but we did have the chance to ask Rick a few questions, in which it was revealed that Gingster's were going to sponsor Rick's forthcoming tour, and would supply him with all of his dietry requirements for the duration of it.
A spokesman for Gingsters was at hand to say the following "We believe that our connection with chunky pop sensation Rick Waller will help us to increase our market share in the competitive 'garage snacks' market, and we firmly believe that Rick will portray an image for our company to be proud of."
Look out for the single and video when it's released in the Autumn, and keep an eye out for special promotions on all Gingster's products, who will be giving away tickets to Rick's forthcoming tour.
I know this has nothing to do with the topic. I'm not surpised if he did start to sing that song, cos thats all he does. He is not good enough to think of his own song.
Anyway very funny.
> By the way, I'm pretty sure it's spelt Ginsters. Unlucky, c***-chops.
You know, I think you're probably right about the 'Ginsters' spelling. I really should consume more of the tasy garage snacks.
But c***-chops? I don't think I've ever been called that before, c***-eye the sailor-tramp. ;o)
"Chunky pop sensation"
