Someone should tell Fernando Hierro that your meant to change Shirts at the end of the game, not during the bloody thing!

LoL. My dad said exactly the same thing. Well spotted by ref. But yeh, Ireland sure did their country proud. :)

I recan Ireland should have won it in the second half of extra time. Spain didn't really make much of an effort.

I routed for I reland and I was so sure they were going to win.

Pity they're all pants penalty takers. (except for Robbie Keane and Finnan of course)

I didnt like spains policy of thinking they'd win for sure on penalties or thats how they seem to play in the final parts of the game. I some how knew Kilbane + Holland were going to miss, just the way Holland quickly came up to hit the penalty too quickly and without thinking and Kilbane, well he's not known for his goal scoring let alone penalty taking.

Do you think Hierro mananged to get Quinns Shirt after all? maybe he went into the locker room and nicked it?

On Hierro's defence he is a quality experienced defender and he is one of the best in the world.

What he did was a bit stupid, but in his defence again, Quinn was miles taller but great reffing. Most referee's wouldn't give that as a penalty.
