Anything you can do, we can do better.

PS2 Wreckless is improved over Xbox version.

Admittedly I find the game dire, but I still have to chuckle...

It's also got a two-player mode.

Doesn't look that much different to be honest. Still, the Xbox version was a classic case of graphics over gameplay. I don't really expect the PS2 version to be much better.

However it does prove that the Xbox isn't as far ahead of the other machines as MS would have you believe.

Not sure how it will do, to be honest, as there are better games available on PS2. Wreckless is almost like a cut-down GTA3 - basically, constant repetition of the Tanner mission - chase car, ram car, repeat. (This isn't a dig at Xbox, just the game.)

Ye I see what you are saying about GamePlay issues, but when it comes to choosing which console surly people will choose the Xbox to get the game on especially if you are graphics mad. If I was buying a game that had already been released on a console more powerful I would wait and buy that console. I think it seems a bit stupid releasing a game that is out on a graphically stronger console down to a poorer one. I am not saying PS2 and GameCube owners should miss out I just don't think it seems right. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your port of a decent racing game and I hope it does well on your console!

The PS2 version's got extra levels and the developers have had more time to hone the gameplay. True, the graphics won't be quite as good, but you can see why some PS2 owners expect it to be better in other ways.

Can I just ask this question, how in the name of Max Payne can this game be improved over the Xbox version? The Xbox version will have better graphics, sounds etc! What can the PS2 version do to better a game on a more powerful console? This is not a shot at PS2 owners it just makes me laugh when a less powerful console can supposedly create a better game than the worlds most powerful console?
