Some of you (though more likely none of you) may remember my asking for ideas for a book that I've been planning to write for God knows how many years. It's still in the planning stages, and I've managed to come up with a few good ideas in between revising for my AS Level exams and playing on Jet Set Radio (addictive!!!).
Anyway, seeing as my exams are over and any time spent in school from now until late July will be spent eagerly awaiting the summer holidays and not actually doing any schoolwork, I thought that now would be a good time to rub my two brain cells together and think of actual ideas and an intricite storyline (and I might even start a fire, too!).
So I'm after:
- Character names -
This might sound / look stupid, but any names that I could give any kind of characters would be appreciated. No corny or catchy ones please, and no names that are easily recognised as being from something really famous and might end up getting me put in jail for copyright theft if my "novel" ever gets published. And anyone who submits anything along the lines of Mickey Mouse will be forced to also submit their home address and will be shot on sight.

I'm basically trying to come up with a story that combines elements from lots of different... things (great choice of word, eh? I'll be a major author in no time with THAT use of the English language). I thought that the story could combine similar elements from:
1) comics (eg. Spider-Man, X-Men, Turok)
2) videogames (eg. Final Fantasy, Skies of Arcadia, Turok)
So any ideas that you can think of would really be greatly appreciated. I'll see ya all later. I'm off to toast marshmallows over a flaming brain cell.

The bad guy has stolen some sort of magical entity, capable of releasing a toxin around the world, killing off all existence. However, the entity generates a magical ring, protecting anyone from the toxin within its radius. However, the entity runs on three rune stones, and if even one is released or out of place (they each are shaped differently, and have according slots), the entire entity does not work. There is another thing: the power of it is unknown, so the 'good guys' don't know what they're dealing with.
