First thing i did was to get a bit defensive - after all this is a PS2 game ,and anything PS2 related must NOT be anti - ,but then i kind of saw her argument.
If you haven't seen the TV commercial advertising ,it starts off in black and white ,with an old soldier looking into his locket at his wife (presumably),and also at a piece of paper with something written on it ,but i don't know what. While this is going on a voiceover is reciting a piece about what happens to this soldier when he goes to heaven.
It is a bit much i now believe.I don't want to seem as though gaming doesn't require a certain amount of realness or seriousness, but something a bit less 'depressing' (can't really think of a word for what i'm thinking) - may have sufficed.
It does seem funny ,because if an advert for games like Res Evil come on depicting death and slaughtering ,it seems ok. So why do i feel this way?
Maybe its all a bit too real.
