I want to know who you're favourite bad guy is from films. A few that spring to mind are Rutger Hauers character in 'the hitcher', patrick bateman in 'american psycho' and jack torrence in 'the shining. BTW I mean normal human characters, NOT fantasy like the predator and darth vader.

Easily Jack Ryder in "The Hitcher" but there are some others.

How about Randall Flagg in "The Stand"?

Or the two wierdo rednecks in "Deliverance"?

Randall Flagg is indeed a 'good' bad guy, but I've only read the book, and need to watch the teleplay to see if it is carried off well. Another good one is agent smith off the matrix, and the kgb guy out of ronin.

Does the Green Goblin from Spider-Man count? Seeing as the actual character is simply Norman Osborn dressed in his Green Goblin costume, rather than actually being a goblin... it should count. Does it? 'Cos I thought that he was brilliant in Spider-Man.

Oh, and the fact that I'm obsessed with anything Spider-Man related has nothing to do with it... honest!

Okay, how about Louise Fletcher (nurse Ratched) in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
