I've just opened up the Britney's Dance Beat PS2 box and put the disc into my PS2. Will it be another Barbie Race and Ride? Will it surprise me? Will I recover or will I have to visit my therapist again? I'm just logging out and may be some time.

lol THQ are living in a dream world. Using the dance mat would require flipping lighting fast reflexes even on easy mode....its summit like 6 steps in 2 seconds...i dont advise buying the game if your sole perpose is to use the dance mat.

Wow thanks, so on the actual game (if you set it to dance matt controls) the up arrow, bottom, left and right will be displayed?

My little sister was upset last night as she didn't think it used the dance matt, because we looked around the internet read your review etc.

I'll have to tell her :-)

Yep, it does. In the Options screen you can set the controls to the right side of the joypad (circle, triangle, square and cross buttons), the left side of the joypad (use the D-pad for input) or Dancemat so you can crack the floorboards and have a heartattack during the final audition.

I've unlocked all the videos now, just need to get one of my dancers to win the final audition. I should do it now because 'I'm stronger than yesterday'. etc...

Ok, I have the little sister with me here now and we're looking up info on the game etc. We read FMN's review and it was pretty good, so thanks for that.

Yeah, I won for a review I posted on my brother's birthday. Can you believe he had the cheek to say to me, "that's mine, right?"?!?!?

I was sickened. And after I bought him that Korn album. He deserves a good kick in the head. But then he probably wouldn't get me anything come my birthday. Hmmm....

I've got it! I kick him in the head AFTER my Birthday. Genius!

You'd have to get her a PS2 of her own to play it on as well, because once she starts playing it on yours you'll never get her away from it. Still, you could always try to beat her on two player.

My little sister came to me today a begged me to try and win her this game.

It's hard enough winning as it is.

I survived the experience. Strangely enough I feel compelled to have another crack at it later on because those last 3 videos need unlocking but it's quite a challenge trying to unlock them. However, I will persevere.

Or just watch the first 6 videos that I unlocked.

Over and over again.
