Where can I get a hit counter for my website that doesnt have to link to another website to tot up the number of hits... Or is this quite impossible, is there HTML code that can be used?

Its for my college web design course, I need a hit counter for each page on my website as part of the criteria, just wondering where I could get a basic one from, to use on each page (to see which pages are visited most, not just the home page of the website.) without having to connect to another website to reset the counter etc.

If you can use php, then there is one on the Freeola support page in Essential php i think..
