I watched Game Pad the other day and it must've been a repeat because they were talking about Timesplitters.
I have read the reviews on this game but I would appreciate a real opinion on this game as I find the reviews on this site are biased as people are always trying to win GAD.
Also, Game Pad said that some people were using their consoles online by linking them to their PC? Anyone else heard of this or know the method of doing it?

I think your last paragraph must have been misinterperated.
Timesplitters is very good. It's basically Goldeneye with better graphics. Whether it's better or not can't be argued with facts, so it's your personal opinion. I think neither are amazing so I won't go in to it.
The control system is smooth, accessable, fantastic range of weapons/characters/levels, missions are exciting, altogether varied and very good. Well worth your dosh, although in my opinion Quake III Revolution is more deserving of it.
