Why's it called Tony Hawks Pro Skater, I heard it's because he's the only Skater dude who can pull off a 900 but from what i've seen he really aint that good. Have you seen the video for Rodney Mullen? this dude can skate like a crazy muther he basically does breakdancing on a Skateboard and it looks sick.
I reckon the next game should be called Rodney Mullens Pro Skater he makes all the others look like amateurs.

Yup. Vert is considered the main part of the sport, and he's the best at it. But Rodney is my favourite, that guy rocks! He's won every single competition he's ever entered!! (free-style of course)
Cos he won the X-Games a bunch of times.

The fact that he's the only dude that can pull off a 900 says enough really, besides he's been one of the best pro's for well over 15 years now, and breakin on a deck is just a gimmick, hawk is a vert skater and theres no way you could do that on a pipe whereas mullen is a freestyle skater....
