For those who have Sky One, there's a new videogame show starting this Saturday at 12:30 called "Blam!"

There have been brief trailers, but it's difficult to determine the quality of the show from these.

Gotta be worth a look, even if it's only the once!

Is this the kind of thing that goes on in other countries now (the showing of multiplayer gaming matches)?
Apparently some countries show games of Starcraft, Unreal and perhaps some others... Sounds fun.
Eventually they'll be showing RPGs on TV no doubt.
Still, if it's not (and from your description it's hard to tell, but I think it's not) then I hope that it is more to do with games themselves than competition between consoles and being unusual. It would be nice if one of these shows got a good balance between the platforms and had unbiased reviewing. Anyone remember Gamesmaster? It was a bit odd but it did seem to mostly based on the facts when it came to the games... which was nice.
Still till there is a review show worth watching i'll just stick to PC Gamer... Actually i'll keep reading it if one does come on, but you know what i mean.

There were no reviews, just a big game competition with MSR on the DC as a challenge.
Other things were a top ten FMV chart, the games charts, a sneak peak at Wipeout Fusion and they so a clip of what the game is like and for how much you can get it for from gameplay, oh yeah and so news.

Damn, I was sleeping when it was on.

What games, stuff, and all were reviewed, previewed whatever?

Not bad was it, there was no 'this is the best' stupid girls and the game coverage was quite good.

I really wanted to see a show with some crisp game footage, and non biased presenters.
They all tried but too many of them have girls acting silly, and a talking robot!
Now we don't want all this 'The DC is dead, ha!ha!ha!, PS2 will rule' and 'Here's a new game for N64........Bye!'.

Now let's teach them a lesson about games, power doesn't matter, and we need some PROPER gamers too voice their views on games.
Hopefully no more blabber mouth, psychotic girls who, say 'ohh!my look at that girl next to that guy'.
No more people wanting to show off their chessy comedy act, who don't know a single piece of gaming.

Hmm. You getting me confoozed with someone else? I don't have an N64, and I've never played PD. Wanted to, though!

I hope so. Though given Sky's last attempt, I'm not getting my hopes up!
