Every nation so far that has hosted the World Cup since the start has gone past the group stages.

I am really surprised that both Japan and Korea got through! Good luck to them!

You can never overestimate the home advantage. It really does make a huge difference.

Additionally, I'll point out that the world cup being hosted in japan does England a lot of favours it that respect - more Japanese/Korean will be supporting England than any other team. This actually gives us a real chance of doing something...

There are playing great at the moment.

Korea have been very impessive so far and the Japs are a bit like A younger Brazil dodgy at the back but great going forwards they both deserve to go through.
England do have a good chance now its up to our boyz to do the business tomorrow

I would say it would depend on who'd be playing at home.
