just checked out goblindirect.com (where i ordered my freeloader) and they said that they spoke to datel and datel confirmed that they ARE repeat ARE releasing them on JUNE 20th.


also goblindirect are getting the wavebird controller on the 17th JUNE so that'll be another purchase.

no offence to SR but ever since i pre-ordered my 'cube there and i was told to wait two weeks i cancelled my order and wen't downtown and saw gamecube gauranteed may 3rd release and it was £20 cheaper than SR.

so after that i never bought anything from SR cos i know i'll probably get a tenner knocked off the price.

i mean today i got pikmin from my local dixons for £32.

and i ordered it from goblindirect cos SR only sell the cheat cartridge one.

anyway i'll shut up.

Thatll be im getting mine from I got my first Datel from SR ;0)

I know what other sites were saying, but that's why I kept suggesting you keep checking www.codejunkies.com.

If you want to be almost guaranteed to get it first, you could order from www.d3world.com (the codejunkies shop) though I reccomend buying from Special Reserve who generally sell Datel's products cheaper.

yeah i believe you but goblindirect aint the only place in which say 20th JUNE, i dont care s'long as i get mine then i'm sorted.

I used the first one they bought out on the amiga so i know there stuff well anough and back then it was a cartridge I think it was pluged into the printer port if i remember rightly. But is was very usfull even back then ;0)

Goblindirect never did get in touch with Datel. FACT.

Yes, the Action Replay in this case will be a disc, I'm just used to calling Action Replays cartridges after having many for different Cartridge based formats.

I've recieved an email back basically saying that both devices are in the late stages of developement. Datel NEVER SAID that they would be out on 20th June (his exact words "Sounds like someone took a wild guess!"). Both the AR and Freeloader will be out when they're ready which will, as he put it, "hopefully be out within a couple of months."

That's official news from one of Datel's top men. If you still don't believe me, then say so when 20th June arrives and you still haven't got your Freeloader/Action Replay I can point and laugh. :)

I see the new memory card will be around £25 which is about right it works about the same as the Ps2 ones

I really like the look of the wavebird ill think ill will get one and the datel cartridge too
