I havr got Gta3 for the pc - i have windows ex so it aint that my pc is to slow. The word aint showing

Also if you are using a gforce card then upgrading to nvidia's 29.42 drivers helps quite a lot with GTA3: http://www.geforce.com/ view.asp?PAGE=windows2000 [spaces again].

The version of Windows that you have doesn't really matter, as long as your processor is fast enough and other things like that.
Text Corruption is a GTA3 & WinXP bug. If you read the GTA3 Readme file it tells you that you need to download a patch from the Microsoft website, something about screensavers.
