No, I didn't have a nightmare, but what happened to me today was a nightmare in itself

I'm currently sitting my A2 exams, and my first ones were today, two Sociology exams. One exam from what we just studied and the other was a resit from when I was one mark off a C back in January (curses)

Anyway, I just spent the entire last week or so revising for religion (the resit) and crime + deviance (new topic) However, I felt a disturbance in the force when I got to school, and heard some of the girls saying they were sick of revising "it" so they did some crime and deviance too. This puzzled me, as she wasn't doing the resit, so what was "it" that she had been revising? I also noticed that a kid in my class wasn't present, and that was strange since he was a swot and would never miss an exam. Anyway, we went across to the exam hall, then it dawned on me. The exam I was about sit wasn't crime + deviance... it was theory + methods, the exam I thought wasn't until next week. The swot was away because he wasn't sitting the exam, he'd opted to do coursework instead. Because I'd decided to turn my life around and actually revise, I devised a timetable sort of thing which had how long I had to revise before each exam... so as you might be able to guess, I hadn't revised theory + methods... at all. In fact, I'd missed a vast quantity of the lessons when we covered the topic, back when I got really lazy and couldn't be bothered with 6th form. So there I sat, getting rather worried that I was about to sit a paper on something I didn't have a clue about. I glanced over the questions as we began, and nearly cried. I didn't have a clue what the huge 40 marks question was, and wasn't certain on the smaller sized ones either.

However, I'm famous in my class for being able to pull something out of nothing, to be able to bluff my way through entire questions, and make it seem like I know what I'm going on about. So it wasn't a total loss, but quite how I am supposed to score 40 marks for a question when I only wrote one side for it, and that one side consisted of utter bull plop, I'll never know

Thankully, I managed to plough through the religion exam afterwards, but I have the distinct feeling that the terrible mark I'll get for the first exam will severely hamper my chances of getting a B in Sociology, or even a C.

Let this be a lesson kids, make sure you bother to CHECK what exam you're going in to, and don't waste your time revising stuff you don't need for another week.

Oh, woah is me, looks like I'm resitting that exam unless I get As in that religon paper and the crime + deviance one, and you can probably guess the chances of that

My stomach gets all screwy when I'm nervous, and I had the s- um, "runs" this morning. Had to keep running upstairs to splash the bowl every half an hour while I was revising the pointless stuff

Ah well, the stuff I revised means I don't have as much of it to do before next, next week. Which is a relief

I done a similar thing for GSCE history a few years back. Revised completly the wrong stuff and was a bit puzzled when I walked into the exam room and found the questions to be on different things to what I had revised. Luckily it wasnt too bad and I came out with a C.

My exams start tommorow. I got a pretty heavy scheldule next week with 6 emams in 4 days :S not very nice...not nice at all...

I aint ever felt this nervous about Exams in my life. I think its becasue I KNOW that I HAVE to get good grades to get into UNI. Otherwise I dont know what the hell i'm going to do if i dont get it...

Woah, unlucky Mojo man, hope you do amazingly come your crime and deviance paper comes around.

I was a fluke (if that's the right word) at school, the thing was I was really lazy when it came to sixth form. I never used to bunk off if you will but it was too easy in sixth form and I missed a lot of stuff. Needless to say I pulled it off exam time, proved teachers wrong etc.

Could have and should have done better mind. Gah nearly everyone regrets school when the leave.
