Obviously there is a time limit for when games go Platinum
If MGS2 sold 1 million in two weeks would you expect it to go Platinum in the third week
You will probably see GTA3 go Platinum about a year after first release (Oct 2001) which will be just in time for Vice City to come out

EBay is good, yeah, but I bet that the game still had a number of days left, or went up in price in the last few hours. Anyway, I got Shadow of Memories, Smackdown: JBI, Summoner and ISS Pro 2000 for £49 - how good is that!?
All I need now is a PS2 :P
