The italians were playing Panuchi as leftback tucked in rather than his normal out n out right back role,
The goals they scored today were offside, and they wer eplaying some dogy tactics and Totti played the worse game ive ever seen him play bar one decent defece splitting pass which vieri scuffed.
All in all Italy tried, but couldnt match mexico's passing and moving and enthusiasm to chase balls and really pushed italy back
Mexico deserved to win, Italy will have to improve considerably if they stand a chance in the next stage.

apparently Panucci was playing in a real dodgy position inbetween midfield and defense?
Totti had a crap game as well?
I wanted Italy to go through as most of the Argentina players play in Italy anyway.

What a great Game, it seemed that even if Italy had lost 2-0 and got less points than Argentina, they would have still gone through because Ecudor were beating Croatia 1-0, what madness. However del piero has scored with 5 mins to go so it doesnt matter. However Mexico have done their bit and they look like they could beat anyone, their passing and movement have really shown Italy up.
Damn Del Piero. Damn him to hell!!
What a great game! Drama, excitement, missed chances and a late Italian goal and it isn't over yet. 3 minutes to go.
