These figures are for the financial year so far along with total sales up to now.

GC
Japan: 1,570,000
Rest of the world: 2,230,000 TOTAL (acc so far): 3,800,000

GBA
Japan: 2,160,000
Rest of the world: 6,420,000 TOTAL (acc so far): 18,160,000

N64
Japan: 30,000
Rest of the world: 180,000 TOTAL (acc so far): 32,920,000

Original GameBoy
Japan: 430,000
Rest of the world: 2,000,000 TOTAL (acc so far): 118,420,000

That's for the 2001 financial year, pre-Euro launch. I think the euro launch is not included, add another 500, 000 methinks, and another couple of months of sales from Japan, US and the rest of the world? Very impressive, especially the old GB! Also it doesn’t look as if the N64 was a flop, I mean, nearly 33 million isn’t bad is it? Round about the same as the SNES I think, maybe less. People jumped the gun with the N64. I suppose it's because we all expected it to surpass the SNES, and in a sense, it has. Ah, those were the days. I remember the excitement at waiting for the launch of the N64. After the rosy time the SNES had with late games like Yoshi’s Island etc, most people jumped the gun and got one. But it still turned out as an essential machine in the end. All that holding-on in the States must have helped a lot. Wow, it will be a long time for GC to reach 30 million though. However, Nintendo are predicting having sold 14 million consoles by the time they announce the sales figures for next year, so probably not *that* long at all. The SNES has sold some 70 million, hasn't it? Or was that the NES?
