just wondering is it possible to curl the ball/add backspin etc in open play? ive tried every thing.It would be a big shame if konami had changed this. Also wat tricks are there so far ive found L + R shimmy
A + X right faint
A + B left faint
Also ive completed evry thing in game on evry level but there are no special teams.

I think you might use the c stick (the yellow one) cos when you press right or left an arrow comes up next tou your players name AND when I was holding the c stick when I turned my cube on that turned into the default position and when I passed or took free kicks it wet way off target so I presume it curled

Oh, and why the hell are Japan in red on this game????

So how exactly do you curl the ball then???

I can curl corners easilly enough, but nothing else.

I've found that the easy goal I used to do in ISS 64 is still in.

run down the flank, to the crossing area, but just marginally inside the box, run almost out of play, then dummy, turn around, and pass right across the goalline. If you have your strikers set up right, a striker can run right into the path of the ball and blast it in from 2 yards.

I'm getting used to these wierd controls and I do see how frustrating it is. I don't think you can curl a live ball though??

Then again, I can't even curl my free kicks!

unfortunatly this only works on set plays, free kicks etc, V frustrating, as youll probably find out

I read it in the manual how you add spin and curve to the ball!
