We seem to have quite a lot of people on here who know what they’re talking about when it comes to game design and technical know-how, game ideas etc, so it be cool if we had some of those tech loving nerds make some video games based on the Special Reserve members/staff to expand the SR franchise.
We seem to have quite a few personalities on here, so what games could they be in?....

AGE OF EMPIRES III: THE BATTLE FOR SITE CONTENT: The successful Age of Empire RTS series finally reaches the 21st century. In this instalment you are Tony, who with god-like abilities is in charge of all the club members and staff of Special Reserve. The aim is to defeat your opposing game merchants by getting all your devoted followers to provide site content for ukgames.com; this is done by all members supplying information, reviews, features, hints, tips and walkthroughs that are hidden throughout the gameworld, and defeating rival game shop fans by talking them to death with weird posts and trivial console war arguments. The more site content you provide, the better the website gets and the more powerful your army of followers become as you shower them with free games.
Like all RTS games, each unit has differing abilities:
Staff--have more power over the normal members, especially with their strong ban button attack that can disable foes, and they have high levels of intelligence and can outwit many opponents.
Notables—the battlefield commandoes who ponce around like they’re in charge, but aren’t really that useful ;-D.
Regulars—the bread and butter soldiers who do all the hard work, but get little of the glory. They’ll happily die for the cause and provide site content till the end of their fingers are worn away.
Newbies—worker drones that have no thought processes of their own that gather resources and build spam castles, spam houses and other spammy buildings.

SUPER SMASH NEWBIES MELEE: A spectacular side scrolling beat ‘em up as you control your chosen Notable as they smash seven bells out of many irritating Noobs in level upon level of old skool beat ‘em up action.
A team of fiendish Newbies has plotted to disband the best-loved chatforum site by filling it with annoying spam (especially in the PS2 forum), and as it’s their second home, the Notables must fight back to rid the site of the newbie menace.
Featuring four player simultaneous action and each character has a choice of ten different costumes, ranging from super-hero costumes, funny ‘end-of-the-pier comedian’ emu costumes, gimp suits, robot armour, gorilla outfits and more.
End of level newbie bosses include the review copier, giant spammer and ‘lack of punctuation man’.

GAMEADAY THEFT AUTO: You control a Newbie user as he/she attempts to steal all the Gameaday prizes from around the world of Special Reserve City and rise up the ranks of the Gameaday leaderboard. Throughout the game, the various SR Notables will set you various jobs and tasks to achieve around the city in order to get more Gameadays.
Watch out for other spamming newbies who hinder your progress as they get in your way, argumentative Regulars who criticise everything and staff members are always ready to use the ban button on you if they catch you.

GAME SHOP TYCOON: Special Reserve do a great job. 99% of the things I’ve got from them arrive on my doorstep on the day of release, but some people may disagree, and are never happy unless they’re moaning about something arriving late, so if you think you can run a video game shop better than Special Reserve, then play Game Shop Tycoon.
Throughout your life as a put-upon game shop manager you will encounter the many highs and lows that shop management has to offer, and must deal with loads of inane enquiries from foolish customers like “when are you going to get so and so in stock?” or “do you sell VHS videos?” or “can I get change of a £10 note?” or “do you know the way to San Jose?” or “where’s the any key?” or “can I pay for this mouse mat with bags of bronze?”
Like all good game shop nowadays, you must also deal with Internet business such as “I’ve found a copied review” or “this person is a spammer” or “my free game hasn’t turned up yet, even though it was generously given to me I must still moan that it’s not here, where is it!?” can you keep the customers happy whilst staying sane at the same time? The challenge is yours.
There are always numerous special guests who visit your game shop and help with store promotions, such as Mr.T, Gary Coleman, Hulk Hogan, David Hasselhoff, Roger Moore and the Chuckle Brothers, plus there is a local gang of thieving monkeys who try to purloin games without paying, so you must hire good security guards to apprehend the mischievous chimps.
And remember, the customer is always right, unless you get out your shotgun from under the counter and threaten rowdy customers.

NOTABLE KART: to make this whole gaming venture more commercially viable, we’ll have to make a crappy cartoon racer with cel shaded graphics that will be a complete Mario Kart rip-off that will sell loads of copies, despite being a poor game.

And remember, if Special Reserve do ever begin their own game production section, all these ideas are a copyright of Special Reserve ;-D
